Chapter 10. LIQUOR CONTROL |
Article II. PROHIBITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
§ 10-60. Violations and penalties.
(a)
Any person who distributes or sells alcoholic liquor at any place within the village without having a current valid license so to do, issued under the provisions of this chapter, or who shall make any false statement or otherwise violate any of the provisions of this chapter in obtaining any license hereunder, or who having obtained the license hereunder, shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter or of the restrictions of said license with respect to the possession, distribution or sale of alcoholic liquor, or with respect to the maintenance of the licensed premises, or who shall violate any other provisions of this chapter shall be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $1,000.00.
(b)
Each day on or during which any person violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense.
(c)
Any person under the age of 21 years who, for the purpose of buying, or accepting or receiving alcoholic liquor from a licensee, represents that he is at least 21 years of age, or who accepts or receives alcoholic liquor from a person other than a licensee, shall for the first offense be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $250.00, and for a second or subsequent offense shall be fined not less than $250.00 nor more than $750.00.
(d)
Every act or omission of whatsoever nature constituting a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, by any officer, director, manager or other agent or employee of any licensee, shall be deemed and held to be the act of such employer or licensee, and said employer or licensee shall be punishable in the same manner as if said act or omission had been done by him personally.
