§ 12-556. Air rifle sales prohibited; exceptions.

(a)

No person shall engage in the business of selling any air rifle in the village and no business license shall be granted by the village for a purpose which includes selling air rifles. This provision does not apply to or affect sales of air rifles to peace officers or other public officers or employees, provided such air rifles are used only in the performance of their official duties.

(b)

Penalties. Any person convicted of violating any provision of this section shall be fined not less than $100.00 or more than $500.00 for each such offense.
