§ 14-24. Application; issuance.

Every owner or operator of a motor vehicle or motor bicycle desiring a license for a vehicle as required in the preceding section shall file an application with the village, upon a form to be provided, setting forth the name and address of the applicant and a description of the vehicle thereof for which the license is desired. Upon the payment by the applicant of the license fee provided in the following section, the village shall issue or cause to be issued a license authorizing the use of such motor vehicle or other vehicle within the village until the expiration of such license.
