Article XIII. SPECIAL REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO VILLAGE CENTER TIME LIMIT PARKING ZONE |
§ 14-404. Violations.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle on any street in the Village Center Time Limit Parking Zone for a longer period of time than the maximum amount specified on signs posted by the village on that block of the Village Center Time Limit Parking Zone.
(b)
Upon the expiration of the maximum amount of permitted parking time, as posted by the village on signs in the Village Center Time Limit Parking Zone, the operator of the motor vehicle so parked shall promptly remove said motor vehicle from the Village Center Time Limit Parking Zone. No person shall move said vehicle directly to another parking space in the Village Center Time Limit Parking Zone, or otherwise park said vehicle for a consecutive period of time elsewhere in the Village Center Time Limit Parking Zone.
(c)
Nothing in this article, or the subsections thereof, shall relieve any person from the duty to obey other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles in specified places or at specified times, as provided in this chapter or as may be indicated on official signs posted by the village.
