§ 14-428. Installation in parking lots; hours of operation.
(a)
There shall be installed in the metered areas set forth and described in this section in the zones therein described, as an aid to the regulation of vehicular parking in those zones, parking meters. The meters shall operate upon the insertion of $2.00 for 12 hours at the parking lots on premises located at Union Pacific right-of-way adjacent to the west side of the 400 block of Poplar Drive, and Union Pacific right-of way adjacent to the west side of the 500 block of Poplar Drive, and east side of Union Pacific right-of-way between Central Avenue and Lake Avenue, and Union Pacific right-of-way adjacent to the east side of the 600 block of Green Bay Road.
(b)
Each meter shall be so designed and constructed that upon the expiration of the time interval registered by the insertion of currency or debit card in the amount as above provided, it will indicate by appropriate sign or signal that the lawful parking meter period has expired and, during that interval of time and prior to the expiration thereof, will indicate the interval of time which remains of the period.
