§ 16-51. Unlawful to maintain.
Latest version.
It shall be unlawful for any owner of any lot or parcel of land in the village to permit or maintain on any such parcel of land, any elm tree or dead elm wood which, as provided in section 16-50 is a public nuisance, and it shall be the duty of any such owner promptly to remove from the village any such elm tree or dead elm wood. It shall be unlawful to strip the bark from, retain, or sell either the wood or bark from any such tree.
