§ 20-134. Excavation construction requirements.
(a)
Any person making any excavation or tunnel shall do so according to the terms and conditions of the application and permit authorizing the work to be done.
(b)
Any person laying or repairing any pavement on a street, alley, sidewalk or other public place, or making or maintaining any excavation or opening therein shall maintain suitable barricades and lights to prevent injury to any person or property by reason of the work. The barricades shall be illuminated at night.
(c)
It is unlawful for any person to disturb or interfere with any barricades or lights lawfully placed to protect or mark any new pavement, repairing, excavation or opening in any public street, alley or sidewalk.
