§ 20-182. Lawn sprinklers on the public right-of-way.

It is unlawful for any person to install or maintain a lawn sprinkling or other irrigation
system, whether wholly or partially underground, in the public right-of-way without
having first applied for and received a Right-of-Way Permit, as provided in article
I of this chapter. All water lines, sprinkler heads, and other appurtenances must
be separated by no less than one foot from the public sidewalk, curb or any other
public infrastructure. Any water lines crossing underneath the public sidewalk must
be no less than one foot beneath the bottom of the public sidewalk.
