Chapter 24. REGULATION OF CERTAIN COMMERCIAL AND QUASI-COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES |
Article IX. FILM PRODUCTION |
§ 24-270. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Director of Community Development means the Director of Community Development of the Village of Wilmette, and his designees.
Film production means any and all activities relating to the process of recording live action on film, magnetic tape, or any other medium for later commercial sale, use, or distribution as a movie, advertising commercial, video, film, or program, including the activities related to the mobilization, set-up, operation, dismantling, or storage of film production equipment, and site repair/restoration activities, as well as the gathering of persons related to the film production.
Film production equipment means any object used in film production, including, but not limited to, lighting and sound equipment, cameras, dressing rooms, trailers, props, furnishings, and vehicles.
Film Production Permit means a permit issued in accordance with the procedures and provisions herein.
Permittee means the individual or entity to whom a Film Production Permit has been issued.
Village means the Village of Wilmette, Cook County, Illinois, its employees, agents, contractors, and designees.
Village Manager means the Village Manager of the Village of Wilmette, Illinois, and his designees.
