§ 24-167. Resale stores.

  • It shall be unlawful for a resale store to purchase or receive any item for resale, other than clothing not containing fur and having a value of less than $100.00, unless a record is made and preserved for a least three years or until one year after the property is resold, whichever occurs later, stating the name and address of the person from whom the purchase was made, an accurate description of the article, the date of the purchase, and the price paid therefor. This record shall be open to inspection by the Chief of Police at any time.
