§ 26-245. Right-of-Way Permit.

  • Before any street or highway can be opened up for the purpose of constructing a house sewer, a written permit must be obtained from the Village Engineer. No such permit shall be issued except to bonded licensed plumbers upon deposit by the applicant therefor of a sufficient sum to secure the cost of restoring such pavement or sidewalk, which deposit shall be not less than $1,000.00 and shall be returned to the person making it upon such restoration being approved by the Village Engineer.
