§ 26-146. Estimated meter reading.

Where a water meter fails to accurately register the amount of water passing through it or if the village is unable obtain a reading, for any reason whatsoever, the quantity used shall be estimated. No reduction will be made from the regular rates as billed due to leaking pipes or fixtures.
