§ 26-213. Service termination.
(a)
The Director of Community Development shall recommend to the Village Engineer to discontinue the water service to any property in violation of the provisions of this article. The Village Engineer shall also take such precautionary measures as deemed necessary to eliminate any danger of contamination to the public water supply. Such action shall be followed by written notification of the cause of disconnection. Water service to such property shall not be restored until such conditions have been eliminated or corrected and a reconnection fee of $50.00 has been paid to the village.
(b)
Immediate disconnection, without any notice to any party, shall be effected provided that, in the opinion of the Village Engineer, such action is required to prevent actual or potential contamination of the public water supply.
