§ 2-154. Appointment; term.

There is hereby created the office of Village Clerk. The Village Manager shall serve simultaneously as the Village Clerk. The residency of the Village Clerk shall be the same as that of the Village Manager set forth in article VII of this chapter. In the event of a vacancy in the position of Village Manager, the duly appointed Assistant Village Manager shall serve simultaneously as the acting Village Clerk until such time as the position of Village Manager is filled.
