§ 2-188. Annual budget.
On or before the date of the first regular meeting of the Board of Trustees in October of each year, the Village Manager shall submit to the Board of Trustees a proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year, an accompanying budget message, and a five-year capital improvements program. The Village Manager shall supervise the Budget Officer in the preparation of the budget, and the budget shall be prepared as generally set forth in section 6-23. The Village Manager shall also cause to be prepared, for consideration and enactment by the Board of Trustees in the manner required by law, a tax levy ordinance, and any related ordinances or resolutions required by law.
