§ 2-221. Duties and powers.

The Assistant Village Manager shall be the chief assistant administrative officer of the village. The Assistant Village Administrator may head one or more departments as directed by the Village Manager and shall be responsible to the Village Manager and the Board of Trustees for the proper administration of all affairs of the village assigned to be performed by the Assistant Village Manager.
