§ 2-281. Account of special assessments.

The Village Treasurer shall keep an account with each special assessment under its general description and number. All monies received on any special assessment shall be held by the Treasurer as a special fund to be applied to the payment of the improvement for which the assessment was made, and that money shall be used for no other purpose than that provided in the ordinance for the improvement, or as otherwise provided by statute or ordinance.
