§ 2-390. Duties.

  • The Director of Community Development shall:

    (1)

    Perform such duties as are prescribed by the building code; zoning ordinance; ordinances relating to planning and housing, electrical and plumbing codes, and signs and subdivisions; and any other ordinances of the village.

    (2)

    Conduct research and make recommendations in connection with community development.

    (3)

    Be responsible for liaison with various community agencies.

    (4)

    Make studies and recommendations in connection with zoning and such other work as may be assigned by the Board of Trustees to the Plan Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and such other committees as may be established.

    (5)

    Be the Secretary of the Plan Commission and have custody of all records of the Plan Commission.

    (6)

    Be the Secretary of the Zoning Board of Appeals and have custody of all records of the Zoning Board of Appeals.

    (7)

    Be the Secretary of the Appearance Review Commission and have custody of all records of the Appearance Review Commission.

    (8)

    Be the Secretary of the Housing Commission and have custody of all records of the Housing Commission.

    (9)

    Be the Secretary of the Historic Preservation Commission and have custody of all records of the Historic Preservation Commission.

    (10)

    Be the Zoning Administrator of the Village and have such powers and duties as provided for in Appendix A to this Code.
