§ 2-1162. Compensation.

  • (a)

    The EMA Coordinator and members of the EMA shall receive no compensation by the village for their services in the EMA, but this provision shall not affect their compensation for other services to the village, nor shall it affect their compensation for EMA activities otherwise provided by law.

    (b)

    Members of the EMA who are paid employees or officers of the village, if called for training by the IEMA Director, shall receive for the time spent in such training the same rate of pay as is attached to the position held; members who are neither such municipal employees nor officers of the village may receive for such training time such compensation as may be established by the Village President and Board of Trustees, as provided by law.
