§ 2-1229. Attendance required.

Any person appointed to any public body pursuant to law or the provisions of this Code, including, but not limited to, any board or commission described in this article, or any special, ad hoc or other committee, commission, or board, as the case may be, must be physically present at the place of any public meeting of the public body in order to be considered present for the purposes of constituting a quorum, in order to vote, or in order to participate in the discussion of any matter of business at said meeting.
