§ 2-579. Functions.

The functions of the Finance Department shall be:
(1)

The custody and maintenance of the financial and accounting records of the village.

(2)

The custody, preparation and maintenance of all necessary financial statistics pertaining to the village.

(3)

The preparation of the necessary reports and studies as may be required for the operation of the village and in the preparation of the annual appropriation ordinance.

(4)

Assisting the Finance Director in performing the duties and functions of that office, and of the office of Village Treasurer.
