Article VI. MUNICIPAL CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE AGREEMENTS |
§ 6-127. Procedure for expenditures.
Unless otherwise specifically provided by law, ordinance or resolution, no officer or employee of the village shall have authority to make any expenditure on the village's account except upon a requisition submitted by the head of the department for which said expenditure shall be made and with the prior approval of the Village Manager. The Village Manager may require purchase orders for such expenditures, in which event said purchase orders shall be consecutively numbered, and the Village Manager may require all bills rendered for supplies, services and equipment to bear the number of the order authorizing same to be purchased.
