§ 6-446. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Hotel or motel means an establishment containing lodging accommodations designed for use by transients or travelers or temporary guests which establishment is kept, used or maintained as or advertised or held out to the public to be an inn, motel, hotel, apartment, lodging house, dormitory or place where sleeping, rooming, office, conference, or exhibition accommodations are furnished for lease or rent, whether with or without meals.
Hotel or motel accommodation means one room offered for rental within a hotel or motel with or without an adjoining bath. A suite of such rooms having only one access to a corridor or the out-of-doors shall be considered a single hotel or motel room.
Person means any individual, partnership, firm, association, joint stock company, corporation, limited liability company, or any combination of individuals of whatever form or character.
Village means the Village of Wilmette, Illinois.
