§ 8-176. Specific projects requiring a Grading and Drainage Permit.
Projects that require a Grading and Drainage Permit include, but are not limited to:
(1)
Construction of new homes or buildings;
(2)
Construction of new garages or auxiliary structures;
(3)
Installation of underground swimming pools;
(4)
Construction of an addition to an existing structure;
(5)
Landscaping that changes the grade of the site such that existing drainage flows will be altered;
(6)
Any project that includes the creation of a foundation;
(7)
Land-disturbing activity proposed in a floodplain as established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA); and
(8)
Any land-disturbing activity equal to or greater to than one acre in area; and
(9)
Demolition of any building or structure.
