§ 8-408. Definitions and applicability.

(a)

Definition. The term "construction site" shall include that lot for which a permit has been issued and any adjacent public rights-of-way or public properties.

(b)

Except as expressly provided, the provisions of this article shall not be construed to waive, revoke, or otherwise render inapplicable the requirements set forth in the Wilmette Housing and Building Codes, as adopted.

(c)

The provisions of this article shall not apply to any request for permit, license or other authorization made by the village, the United States of America, the State and any agency thereof, or any "local public entity," as that term is defined in 745 ILCS 10/1-206.
