The National Electrical Code, 2005 Edition, shall be and the same hereby is adopted
by reference as The Electrical Code of the village, as fully as if set out at length
herein, save and except the following deletions, modifications or amendments thereto.
Three copies are filed in the office of the Village Clerk, and the same are hereby
adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. The provisions of
said electrical code shall be controlling in the construction, repair and alteration
of all buildings and other structures therein contained within the corporate limits
of the village. Whenever the terms "authority having jurisdiction for enforcing the
Code," "governmental bodies exercising legal jurisdiction over electrical installations,"
"administrative authority," or similar terms are used in said electrical code, they
shall be held to mean the village.
