§ 8-663. Notice to repair.

(a)

When the Director of Community Development determines a fence is in disrepair, the Director will give the owner of record 30 days' notice (measured from the date of mailing or posting, as set forth below) to effect necessary repairs. If the owner of record fails to make the necessary repairs within such 30 days or such additional period as may be allowed by the Director of Community Development, the owner of record shall be considered to be in violation of section 8-662.

(b)

The notice provided for will be given either by certified mail to the owner at the address in question or by posting at a conspicuous place on the fence in question.
