§ 8-665. Village to repair; cost as lien.

If an owner of record fails to effect the necessary repairs promptly after having been adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction to be in violation of section 8-662, the village at its option may either remove or repair the fence in disrepair. The cost of such removal or repair shall be charged to the owner of record, and if not paid within 30 days, shall become a lien on the property.
