§ 8-525. Fire Prevention Bureau.

(a)

The Fire Prevention Code of the village, as adopted herein shall be enforced by the Fire Prevention Bureau in the Fire Department of the village, which bureau is hereby established and shall be operated under the supervision of the Fire Chief, who shall be head of the bureau. The Fire Prevention Bureau shall consist of the Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief, the Battalion Chiefs of the Fire Department, the Assistant to the Fire Chief, and such other Fire Department personnel as may be so designated by the Fire Chief.

(b)

The Fire Chief may detail such members of the Fire Department as inspectors as shall from time to time be necessary.
