§ 8-596. Electrical requirements.

(a)

No current carrying electrical conductors shall cross private residential swimming pools, either overhead or underground or within ten feet of such pools.

(b)

All metal fences, enclosures or railings or lighting fixtures near or adjacent to private residential swimming pools, which might become electrically alive as a result of contact with broken conductors or from any other cause, shall be effectively grounded.
