§ 8-798. Complaint.

  • Any person who claims to have been injured by an unfair real estate practice or believes that he will be irrevocably injured by an unfair real estate practice that is about to occur (hereafter called "person aggrieved") may file a complaint within 30 days of the alleged violation, with the Corporation Counsel. The complaint shall be in writing, under oath, and shall contain such information and be in such form as the Corporation Counsel requires. Upon receipt of such a complaint the Corporation Counsel shall furnish a copy of the same to the person or persons who allegedly committed or are about to commit the alleged unfair real estate practice.
