§ 8-822. Village complaint.

If, within 30 days after the initial complaint is filed, the Corporation Counsel has been unable to obtain voluntary compliance with this section, the Corporation Counsel may file the said complaint with the appropriate division of the Circuit Court of Cook County in the manner provided for the filing of ordinance violation complaints in the name of the village. If, during the course of the proceeding, compliance with this section is obtained or the person aggrieved desires to withdraw his complaint, the Corporation Counsel may non-suit or otherwise dismiss the complaint.
