§ 8-855. Enforcement; suit for collection.

Whenever any person shall fail to pay any taxes herein provided, or any purchaser or grantee shall accept a conveyance where the tax has not been paid, the Corporation Counsel shall, upon request of the Village Manager, bring or cause to be brought an action to enforce the payment of said tax, including interest and penalties as hereinbelow provided on behalf of the village in any court of competent jurisdiction.
