§ 12-557. Public display of air rifles prohibited.

(a)

It shall be unlawful to brandish or openly display any air rifle while on the grounds of any public park or other public property, or while on any public street, public alley or other public right-of-way. This provision does not apply to or affect peace officers or other public officers or employees acting in the performance of their official duties.

(b)

Penalties. Any person convicted of violating this section shall be fined no less than $50.00 or more than $500.00 for such offense. Any person convicted of a second or subsequent offense under this section shall be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00.
