§ 14-58. Exemptions.

All vehicles owned or operated by the village, consuls representing foreign nations or officers of foreign legations, and antique vehicles as defined in ILCS ch. 625, act 5, § 1-102.1, shall be exempt from provisions of this article; provided, however, that each and every vehicle in this classification shall be required to have a vehicle license according to its proper classification, and such license shall be issued to the applicant upon the proper application without fee.
