§ 20-95. Block parties, street closings.

The Chief of Police may issue a permit for the temporary closing of a block on a non-arterial street upon the condition that such closing does not impose a life safety threat. The closing of a block will be permitted only during daylight hours and upon securing the necessary permit from the Police Department. Said permit must be obtained at least seven days prior to the closing of the block and will be issued subject to such rules and regulations as set forth and maintained at the Police Department.
