§ 26-254. Drains below grade.

All drains below grade shall discharge into an airtight sump or receiving tank so located as to receive the sewage by gravity, from which sump or receiving tank the sewage shall be lifted and discharged into the building sewer by pumps, ejectors, or any equally efficient method. All sumps shall have pumps that automatically discharge.
