§ 26-259. Village liability.

In the event of an emergency, the village may, but shall not be obligated to, repair any such building sewer, but any repairs made by the village shall be at the cost and risk of the owner of the premises to be served. The village shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the undertaking of repairs, nor for any damage or loss caused by or resulting from obstructions in such building sewer, or from any disrepair thereof, or from failure to make needed repairs.
