§ 26-293. Penalty for nonpayment.

A penalty of 1.5 percent per month shall attach to any unpaid bills 30 days after the date of issuance. If not paid within 60 days of issuance of such bills, the water service shall be turned off and will not be turned on again until full payment is made to the village including a charge for restoring water service. The reconnection charge shall be $75.00 on regular business days between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and $150.00 for all other times.
