§ 26-319. Emergency restrictions.

In case of mechanical failure of the system providing water for the village or in case of a water shortage, the Village Engineer, upon declaration of the emergency by the Village Manager, is hereby authorized to implement an emergency water use plan and to impose immediate restrictions upon non-essential uses of the water system such as watering and/or sprinkling lawns and/or gardens, filling and/or refilling swimming pools, or washing automobiles.
