§ 4-119. Issuance of tags.

(a)

License tags. Upon approval of the license application and payment of the license fee, the village shall issue a tag made of metal or other durable material stamped with the term "village," an identifying number. License tags shall be worn at all times when the animal is off the owner's property.

(b)

It shall be unlawful to transfer a license tag from one dog or cat to another or to obscure or deface a tag in any way.

(c)

In the event of a lost tag, a replacement tag will be issued for upon payment of a $5.00 fee.
