§ 6-126. Authority.

(a)

All municipal contracts and purchase agreements shall be adopted in accord with the requirements of this Code as set forth in section.

(b)

The Village Manager and the Village Manager's designee, if one shall be designated, shall have the authority provided in this section to approve purchasing for all departments of the village, and shall procure the necessary supplies, services and equipment required by the various departments of the village on requisitions of the proper officer in charge of said departments, provided the funds for the purchase of such supplies, services and equipment have been duly appropriated.
