§ 8-691. Applicability.

(a)

The provisions of sections 8-689 and 8-690 shall not apply to any request for permit, license, or other authorization made by the village, the United States of America, the State and any agency thereof, or any "local public entity," as that term is defined in ILCS ch. 745, act 10, § 1-206.

(b)

The provisions of sections 8-689 and 16-690 shall not apply to any request for permit, license, or other authorization made by a property owner where the amount of any bond which would be required to be posted pursuant to section 8-690(a)(1) would be less than $1,000.00.
