Article XLI. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT; MUNICIPAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY |
§ 2-1157. Coordinator.
(a)
The Chief of Police shall serve as the EMA Coordinator and shall exercise and perform all duties and be subject to all the requirements and obligations pertaining to such office, as provided in the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act.
(b)
The EMA Coordinator shall have direct responsibility for the organization, administration, training, and operation of the EMA, as provided by law, subject to the direction and control of the Village Manager.
(c)
All other members shall be appointed, or designated, by the EMA Coordinator and shall serve at the pleasure of the EMA Coordinator.
